If we have anything in common, and I'm sure we do (At least one thing!), there are some people on your Christmas list that you have no idea what to buy for them. My issue is my husband. He's a little too, how should I word this?...simple! If anyone asks him what he wants to do for his birthday, he'll say "anything, it doesn't really matter". Birthdays, Anniversaries, etc. he plans nothing! This, "it doesn't really matter" attitude, leaves me without Christmas gifts, Anniversary gifts and Birthday gifts. My gosh, would this man plan at least one big day for me? I love him dearly, but I can't stand him when special days come around. I sometimes find myself giving him the evil eye and wishing his Playstation would break down and magically work again when I want him to leave me alone! :)
Even though he couldn't care less, I cannot find it in myself to have a Christmas tree full of gifts and nothing for him to open. I'm a bargain shopper who shops year round, not just during the holidays. So, what do you buy for a man that has pretty much everything he'd need/want? You can only buy so many clothes, ties, tie holders, wallets, cuff links, pajamas, slippers, watches and remote control holders!
Here are some last minute ideas I came up with:
My ideas are based off my husband. He is a non drinker, non smoker, non Mr. Fix It, non golf player, football lover, playstation adorer. He works hard, so when work is over...he just wants to relax. He prefers to sleep in boxers and a tee shirt instead of pajamas. So I am thinking of things HE would actually use. Tailoring your gift to the person you are buying for, is something you would need to do. Think about things they like to do, that you see them do and Google something related that they do not have. You'll probably be surprised to find that what you found for them, might be sold locally. If you must purchase online, many stores are offering rush delivery for orders placed by Friday!
