Cassani Fogless Shower Mirror Review

I never...ever thought I would have a need for a mirror in the shower, but this is really a good product for people who need to shave! Anytime my husband would shave in the bathroom, I would be disgusted by the teeny hairs that are left in the sink, on the sink counter and bits on the floor. This coming from a woman who leaves a few strands of hair after perfecting a hairstyle! He usually places a newspaper below himself on the floor and two sheets of newspaper in the sink, but as he lifts it a few pieces would be left behind. He would then wash it down the sink. Now we're left with one working sink and a second sink that drains incredibly slow (hence the tape over one sink).
I thought him shaving over the sink was something I would just have to get used to because I never heard of a fogless shower mirror. Low and behold an opportunity came to try one from the Cassani Company and I signed up quickly after seeing the photo on the box of a man shaving...in the shower. Let's see if it actually works!
In the package:
Mirror Hook (Wall Mount)
How it works:
Stick the hook on a clean, dry surface away from draft and the shower stream. Basically you're placing it on the wall opposite your shower head, above the stream. After placing it, I found myself using it. It's great to be able to tweeze my eyebrows that close to a mirror. I also found myself making funny faces while I showered.
What I liked:
It didn't fog up at all which was a pleasant surprise, I love it when a product does what it's supposed to do. Too bad I no longer use hair relaxer, this would have come in handy showing me when all the product was out of my hair!
If you shave, use face cleansers/masks, feel like tweezing your eyebrows, etc. I recommend using this. It actually works. I didn't think in the one week I've had it that I would actually use it. I figured my husband would be the only one to find it useful. Honestly, the only reason I wanted to try this was to see if it would keep my husband from ruining my bathroom sink with tiny hairs after he shaves, since he already "ruined" his side (Too cheap to call a plumber and Drano doesn't help :D). Plus, it's pretty affordable, on sale for just $14.99 on Amazon.com!
Although it is a great mirror for the bathroom, if you take hot showers like I do, you will notice it does get foggy. I prefer to keep the mirror to the side opposite the shower head. When placed under the shower head I didn't have much fog, so depending on placement, you will see fog after a while.
Note: The set also comes with a holder for your razor.
