For a few days, I had the FAGE coupons sitting in my purse. I even forgot to buy it while on a grocery shopping trip so I decided to stop and pick some up while I was on my way home. In the aisle, there were two ladies looking in the cottage cheese and yogurts area. I stood next to them trying to find the FAGE cups so I could make the trip a quick one, but I needed help because I could not find them among the countless cups of other yogurt brands.
The associate helped me find them. There were only 8 FAGE cups, 2 flavors so there wasn't much to choose from. As he handed them to me, one of the ladies asked me what FAGE was and I told her it's Greek yogurt that I was given an opportunity to try for free as a Bzzagent / blogger. She mentioned that there seems to be a new "in" thing every week. I laughed! I offered her a coupon to try one also, which she was happy to accept.
I never had Greek yogurt before so this was a minor adjustment for my taste buds. While working at my desk I decided to have one as a mid morning snack. I like watery drinks, and some slightly bland foods, so I was excited to try the FAGE since one side is plain yogurt. Boy was that a mistake!
I didn't realize plain yogurt would taste like cream cheese. My mouth was in a state of shock after I devoured a large spoonful. That's when I quickly took a small spoonful of the fruity side of the cup to balance out the taste. I then mixed up the whole thing. It was delicious!
Greek yogurt is thicker than regular yogurt. It was just as delicious once mixed so no more adjusting of the tastebuds necessary on my part! I also liked being able to control how much of the chunks of fruit I wanted!
I have two coupons remaining and I'd like to give a reader the chance to try it, for free!
