I made the Eggnog Matcha the same way I made the Caramel Matchaccino. As soon as I opened the packet, the smell of eggnog was noticeable. It smelled great.
Note: it has a tear area, but don't use it. When tearing at the tear area some of the powder spilled. I suggest using a scissor to cut the edge open, unless you're really careful (I'm not!).
As a cold drink it tastes like green tea with an eggnog after taste. Not a strong eggnog flavor. I like my green tea hot, so I decided to make it that way also. That was delicious, and mildly sweet. I didn't follow the steeping directions, I made it the way I would make powdery hot chocolate. There still wasn't a strong eggnog taste, but the vanilla flavor was more apparent as a hot tea than it was as a cold drink. Plus, it's healthy. What's better than that?

TRADITIONAL STEEPING DIRECTIONS (as posted on redleaftea.com)
"As a hot tea, Matcha's penetrating smell and amazing flavor really come to life. To enjoy Matcha as a hot tea:Bring your Matcha powder to room temperature [18°C (64°F) to 23°C (73°F)], and sift through a strainer.
Scoop 1 ½ to 2 rounded teaspoons of sifted Matcha into a tea bowl or cup
Add ¼ to 1/3 cup of hot, simmering water (this may be more or less diluted based on your preference).
Briskly whisk your Matcha. As the Matcha begins to dissolve, move the whisk briskly back and forth as fast as you can in the middle of the bowl or cup. The whisk should be vertical and barely touching the bottom of the bowl or cup. Once your Matcha has developed a soft, light foam, slowly lift the whisk from the center of the bowl or cup.
Enjoy your frothy, healthy cup of hot Madagascar Vanilla Matcha Green tea!"
