Trying to Lose Weight Shouldn't SUCK so much!

The way I see it, I didn't exactly have a horrible time stuffing my face with donuts, burgers and other junk food, so why can't I have an OK time losing the weight I packed on as a result?
When I was in High School, I'd wake up every morning to the same routine: wake up an hour early, do my stretches, my light aerobics then pop my Denise Austin Super Stomachs VHS into my 13" color VHS/TV combo (we didn't have DVDs then, lol). I was so in shape back then, I never knew being out of shape was a possibility. After my workout, I'd take a shower and begin my day.
Fast forward to when I met my husband. He'd pick me up, we'll go out on a date, food is always the center of our evening and by the time I'm home again...I'm too tired to talk, let alone work out! This became the norm, working out became a distant memory.
I have been trying to lose weight for the past 10 years. The problem isn't so much that I "can't" lose weight, I just haven't stuck with a program long enough to maintain the results. In recent years, I have been successful with Slim N 6, losing 22 lbs in 6 weeks, but after I completed the 6 week program , I went back to my old bad habits. I have countless X Box 360 Kinect workout games, dance games, I have Rockin Body Workout program, pilates and fitness DVDs, weights, you name it. I'm just too darn lazy! I think I need a skinny friend that I see daily, to keep me motivated, or a dog.
Most fitness websites have coaches, a support team, etc. I need an option more personal, outside of having a trainer. This time I need an actual workout buddy! Any takers?
