I have been interested in purchasing an air fryer for quite some time, but I didn't feel the need to rush. It wasn't until recently that I had an immediate need to find a healthier way to make and prepare the food I love. I enjoy eating fried foods, even fast food. I tend to trick myself into believing that just because I'm making it at home, it's better, but it was still fried food. For my benefit, for anyone's benefit really, being able to eat what I enjoyed, but make it healthier had to start now. In comes the air fryer!

If you like fried foods, consider buying one for yourself. As shown in the picture above, I air fried wings. If I knew my wings would taste the same without using oil, I would've bought this a long time ago.
I selected the Avalon-Bay Air Fryer because it ranked high in reviews and was affordable compared to competitors. It's worth every penny!
I'm known for my wings. 30 minutes at 360°, then 10 minutes on the other side. It takes longer than a deep fryer, but with the air fryer, they came out crispy, inside cooked thoroughly and everyone spoke about not noticing any difference in taste. It's a healthier way to cook. The fats and liquid from the chicken drips to the base, the chicken isn't soaked in it. Move the basket only and you're left with tasty meat, no guilt. Even better, the base and basket are both dishwasher safe!

Guarantees food is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. A reliable and healthy alternative to deep frying.
Update (4/2018): The air fryer still works well, but after months of use there are cosmetic issues. The insides of the inner basket and bottom are rusting and peeling. The black lining is peeling in some parts and the silver beneath it is visible. There's no way to replace those parts and I'm finding out there is no product warranty after 90 days. I use it often, and I mean often, so I can understand rusting with frequent cleaning. But, I don't understand the peeling if it's dishwasher safe, and that's the way I have been washing since I purchased it.
It's still a good air fryer, and not a common issue when checking reviews. But one thing to look for when purchasing yours, is to look for one with a better product warranty should this happen.
