The last time I joined crossfit, after doing rabbit workouts I literally couldn't walk for days. I thought the bones in my thighs shattered and I felt hatred towards the gym and everyone in it! I realized I should have prepped myself mentally and physically for it. At the very least, I should've gotten my legs ready for the brutal workouts that were about to take place. Tomorrow I will. I will also continue to walk, and use my rebounder and other equipment, but a girl like me enjoys variety. My husband got his bike tuned up, but riding bikes is kind of dull...I want to skate!
Oh goodness...now I'm in the market for a good pair of skates, sigh!
I'm at a point now where I feel ready to add more of a challenge to my workouts. For a while, I've been pinning workouts on Pinterest and going googly eyes over women body parts that I want to emulate (guns, buns and abs...get your mind out of the gutter, lol). I continue the same old routine without much change, so I'm not seeing much change physically. I need to push myself. Next week I start crossfit training at a different center than the one I went to before and I'm excited. But, while I'm home I want to do extras on days that are not rest days. Yeah, I know I will have to take it easy!
