The e.l.f. Hydrating Bubble Mask

Wet your face until it's damp. Push down on the sides of the top of the jar. A small amount of mask solution appears at the top, push down until you have enough to cover your face. The mask goes on lightly, like toner, but it bubbles. You can actually hear AND feel the bubbles form, then dissolve. After that happens, rinse your face with warm water and pat dry.

My face actually felt refreshed and smooth afterward. No itching, bumps or discomfort. You won't feel a greasy or moisturized feeling either, so you may need to use a moisturizer afterward. With the mask, your face is just left clean.

"This multi-purpose primer preps your skin and fills in fine lines so makeup goes on evenly for a long lasting matte finish."

I have never tried a face primer before, but after reading what it's used for, I thought it was definitely worth a try! I have fine lines around my eyes and usually avoid putting powder or concealer there because my eyes are sensitive. Sometimes if I put powder in certain areas, my eyes would water and become puffy. With the help of the primer, I was able to smooth the area and cover the area in foundation without much pressure. The primer is clear, which is perfect since it's not leaving any color on your skin before you add your concealer or foundation. Also, it's light. It doesn't leave a residue and doesn't even feel as if you're wearing anything at all, although your face is noticeably smoother and softer.

If you're wondering about the texture, the closest thing I can compare it to, texture-wise is Neutrogena's ultra sheer dry touch sunblock. It feels like silk on your face and your face feels pretty smooth afterward.

When I put my foundation on afterward, the sponge literally glide across my face. It's as if my pores disappeared, but the added benefit is it doesn't clog pores. It's something I would continue to use.
e.l.f. Lip Exfoliator (Mint Maniac)

The lip exfoliator is pretty cool. When I first opened it, I was confused. It looks like lipstick, nothing like what I usually use to exfoliate my lips. You massage it on your damp lips, in circular motions. After doing so, I realized it has a semi-rough texture, not smooth like lipstick. It also has a nice, mint flavor (yes, I tasted it...habit). After exfoliating the lips, gently wipe off the remnants and follow with a lip moisturizer.

e.l.f. Matte Lip Color

Perfect to use after the exfoliator. Smooth and moisturizing lip color. It has a sharpener at the base and the tip is thin enough to also use as a lip liner before filling the rest of your lips in.

I have not used the Baked Highlighter or Bronzer yet, but when I do I will update this post!
